I have always been recording stuff to edit later, only to delete them. I did that because I loved movies and wanted to try the same stuff editors and special effects artist did and I was fascinated by it. After a couple of years of doing that I decided to make a YouTube channel, which was Thunderchild Gaming. It was named after the fifth song of 'Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of the War of the Worlds.' I have always loved that album. It is the reason why I started to play keyboard. And I always thought it was just a cool name. So when I had to come up with a name for the channel I didn't need long to think. I wanted to make something that I didn't see other people do and something that I always wanted to know about games when I was thinking about buying one. And that is stuff like how well do the developers support a game, what extra's do you get? I also wanted to do bundle round-up video's to make sure my viewers wouldn't miss out on good deals that where pretty unknown. But that series has been mostly put on hold since the bundles and deals have become way worse over the last few years.

Then, at the start of 2018, I decided to make everything bigger. I made this website and redid all the channel effects and banners. I made a second channel to post some more different stuff that I didn't think would fit on the main channel or that would clutter it. And I tried to stick to a schedule of one video every fortnight. And that went well for a time. But than school and work became a big time sink and I didn't post for about half a year. But now I'm back (at least I hope so). So I have decided to just make a video whenever, to make the overall quality better. I have lots of new gear and experience, so let's make the next year better than what I have ever done!

Anyway, thanks for checking my channel out.
